Where the advice comes from

The structure in every guide (open inside a moment, one story that shows character, a clear ending the room can join) is standard speechwriting practice, the same approach used in the generator's questionnaires. Timing figures assume a delivery pace of roughly 130 words a minute, which is on the slower side of conversational speech and appropriate for a nervous speaker in a large room. Where a guide gives a length, it is a working range, not a rule.

Occasion-specific pages (a quinceañera, a bar or bat mitzvah, a thesis defense) describe the conventions most families and institutions follow. Traditions vary by family, region and denomination. When a guide says "usually", take it literally and check with the people organising the event.

Examples

Every example speech and excerpt on this site was written for the site. The names, places and stories in them are invented. Nothing a customer typed into the generator, and nothing it produced for them, is ever published here or used as an example. If a passage resembles a real speech, that is coincidence.

Examples are meant to be studied, not copied. Each full example is followed by notes on the structural choices it makes, so you can borrow the shape while telling your own story.

How AI is used

The speech generator uses an AI language model to draft speeches from the answers you give it. That is the product, and it is described as such on every page that offers it.

The guides and examples are a different matter. AI writing tools are used to help draft and edit them. Nothing goes live until Petr Royce has read it, checked the claims in it and approved it, and that name and the review date appear on the page. Where we get something wrong, the review date is the first thing to check, and the contact address below is the second.

Dates, corrections and money

The "Reviewed" date on a guide is the last time its content was substantively checked, currently September 3, 2026. Changing a date without changing the page is not something we do. The date in the structured data behind the page is the same date you see.

Corrections: email support@honoredwords.com with the page URL and what is wrong. Factual errors are fixed and the review date updated. Disagreements about style are read and sometimes acted on.

This site carries no advertising, no affiliate links and no sponsored content. The only thing it sells is the generator, on the terms shown on the pricing page. Guides recommend the generator because it is ours; they are written to be useful whether or not you use it.
